Forecast: More showers and storms today

Good morning, East Tennessee! Today, we’ll see another round of showers and thunderstorms across the region. Severe weather is not expected, but a few storms may produce heavy rain. This may cause minor flooding in some locations. Skies will be partly sunny. Look for temperatures to rise into the upper-70s to low-80s.

Heading into tonight, look for scattered showers and storms with partly cloudy skies. Temps will remain mild, with lows in the 60s.

We’ll see clearer skies on Tuesday and only a slight chance of storms. Partly to mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the low- to mid-80s. A front will pass through, making temperatures cooler overnight. Lows will be in the 50s to low-60s.

Clear weather is in the forecast Wednesday. Look for mostly sunny skies with highs in the low- to mid-80s. Slight chance of showers and storms overnight.

For Thursday, we’ll hang on to mostly sunny skies but we will see a slight chance of t-storms. Temps will be a tad cooler, with highs in the upper-70s to low-80s. Temps will be in the 50s overnight.

Friday, dry weather returns. Look for mostly sunny skies with cooler temps, highs in the 70s.
